Medieval Interiors

With Halloween approaching I thought it would be fun to look at some medieval inspired interiors, both old and new.

Tallinn's restaurant scene boasts a few Medieval themed restaurants: not surprising, given the city's historical heritage 
The Great Tower's medieval interiors have been recreated to show how Henry II built one of the most opulent and impressive palaces in Europe.




Trompe l'oeil at BelCor Interiors - Salone del Mobile, Milan
A Baroque screen, c.1713-16 was installed in the 15th-century Gothic chapel at All Souls' Oxford. The carved stone reredos is original although the statues are a Victorian restoration


Secluded, in the small town of “Turda” in Transylvania, Prince Hunter and Dracula Hotel (or Castle) and Restaurant combines a hunting medieval theme with Dracula, Bram Stoker’s fantasy character.  Bedroom and bathroom below from Hotel Dracula.
