Over the past 9 years, Jeff Monsein and his team of artists have cultivated an impressive following and a distinctive portfolio that showcases work for private, business and non-profit clients in Florida, Maryland, California, and Mexico (Cabo San Lucas).

Their work has been purchased for private collections and has been auctioned at fund raisers for organizations that include the Boys and Girls' Clubs, The Ophelia Project, Tampa Museum of Art, Holocaust Museum, M.A.D. Theater of Tampa, St. Joseph's Hospital, Tampa Aids Network (Art for Life), Beach Park Day School, JCC, Food Bank's Kids Café Programs (Empty Bowls), Outdoor Arts Foundation ,Manatee Menagerie and Butterflies of Hope.


His work has appeared in Dream Homes of Florida, The House that Faux Built, The Tampa Tribune, The St. Petersburg Times, Tampa Bay Illustrated, The Artistic Stenciler, Tampa Bay Magazine, Tampa Bay Metro, HouseTrends (two clients’ homes were featured in recent editions), Designer Faux Finishing: Ideas and Inspiration for Sophisticated Surfaces, Florida Design Register, American Painting Contractor, Flair Magazine, and other publications. Previous Background: Managed 3 locations of Diesel Institute of America in Maryland, a trade school teaching students to drive and repair tractor trailers, from 1980 - 1986. Owned and operated Diesel Institute of America in Tampa from 1986 - 1999. Owned and managed Reliability Staffing employment agencies from 1996 - 2001. Opened Splat Paint 2000.

Mostly self trained but have attended a few classes and seminars around the country. Also has taught classes for other artists and was guest speaker at St. Pete Times Home shows for the past 2 years.
