Amy Calaway

“We are dedicated to our clients and walk them through the decorative process from start to beautiful finish.”

Amy Calaway inherited an interest in art from her parents and learned the fundamentals of traditional faux techniques from a lifetime of working with her mother, Sherry Ringler. In addition to her “apprenticeship”, she has studied art at the collegiate level as well as studio courses around the world, most recently touring the museums and ruins throughout

Greece.

With an arsenal of paint techniques and a strong background in art history, Amy started Calaway Design Finish in 2001; focusing her professional attention on Italian plasters. The knowledge paid off quickly. In 2004-05, Calaway Design Finish was granted the honor of restoring the interior walls and ornamental wood trim of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Westcott House located in Springfield, OH. (www.westcotthouse.org). The home is now open as a museum and included in the registry of Historic Landmarks.

Calaway Design Finish is a full service decorative paint company that works with both residential and commercial clients across the country.
